HER CHANGING FACES

In 2010 I moved back to Southern California  to pursue a career in acting. I went on audition after audition, took extensive acting classes, spent way too much money on headshots and landed a few mediocre agents. There came a point when I realized I needed to stop asking for permission to play the roles I wanted to play. I needed to create them for myself. That's when I decided to stop playing by the rules and began experimenting.

HER CHANGING FACES is a result of that experimentation. It is a series of short experimental film pieces inspired by song lyrics and existing films. 
Each moving portrait, each “face” is written, directed by, and starring myself. They aren’t perfect by any means, but they are a part of my journey. Each is a unique celebration of life and of the female experience. Each face is a part of me.
