ABOUT

Prem Santana is a director, writer, veteran actor, and a graduate of the American Film Institute Conservatory. She also founded the Moonfaze Feminist Film Festival, which ran for four years celebrating female-led films from around the globe. Prem’s body of work, which also includes fine art, is deeply influenced by nature, the liminal, the otherworldly and the journey from darkness into light. Currently, she is developing multiple projects including three feature films. She is a biracial, queer woman born and raised in Southern California. Prem is committed to telling stories from the margins, stories that push the limits of genre and identity, stories that conjure connection and evoke change.
